On the tropical island of Haiti, traditionally Marabou were people of mixed heritage; Indigenous/African/European/East Indian ancestry. As with many countries histories, groups intermingle and definitions change. Marabou became synonymous with darker skinned women who were thought to be naturally beautiful. Well groomed, flaunting healthy curves and exuding confidence these women need very little to radiate beauty.
